What Will the Star Wars Fans Do to Get the Latest News? Spy on a Cell Phone Maybe?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last 2 years, then you know that Disney bought Lucasfilm and hired Star Trek’s J.J. Abrams to direct the next installment of Star Wars—which will be released this December. Featuring a cast of new characters as well as beloved old ones, Star Wars: The Force Awakens inarguably the most anticipated film of the year

In fact, the movie is stirring up interest, the latest trailer—which was released online to coincide with its television premiere during Monday Night Football this week—practically broke the internet! The trailer also drummed up incredible pre-sale tickets for the movie in IMAX.

According to the Hollywood Reporter:
Presales for the Disney and Lucasfilm project broke every IMAX record, generating more than $6.5 million in domestic ticket sales from moviegoers purchasing tickets to see the film which will open on approximately 390 IMAX screens in North America. By comparison, Imax has never previously registered more than $1 million in pre-sales on a single day. In most locations, Imax theaters were selling tickets for the first four days of the movie's run, ensuring that many more seats are yet to become available.

“The only words to describe the first day of IMAX worldwide advance ticket sales for Star Wars: The Force Awakens are 'record-shattering'," said Greg Foster, CEO of IMAX Entertainment. “We’re seeing sell-outs across the board — from Hollywood to London, to Sparks, Nevada, and everywhere in between."

The site then went on to report:
When tickets went on sale Monday after the trailer debuted during Monday Night Football, demand was so high that several sites, including IMAX, Fandango and Movietickets.com, suffered outages under the pressure.

Still, Fandango has already confirmed a new record in pre-sales, selling eight times as many tickets as it did on the first day of sales for the previous record holder, the first Hunger Games film. AMC also has reported sales for The Force Awakens beat the previous record holder by more than 10 fold (IMAX ticket sales accounted for approximately 38 percent of AMC’s ticket sales gross), and the theater chain sold out more than 1,000 shows nationwide.

While details of the plot and characters has been shrouded in secrecy, the internet is abuzz with speculation. How much will older Han Solo and Princess Leia play into the new tale? Who is the real baddie pulling the strings? Was that a new Death Star in the official poster? And most importantly … where the heck is Luke Skywalker? No one knows!! And the suspense is killing the fans! It makes you wonder just what will the fans do to get the details?

No doubt, there are hackers out there trying to find out what Abrams has up his sleeve. But as many know, the A-List director of the rebooted Star Trek franchise,  Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and Super 8 pulls out all the stops to keep the spies away. Everyone from the 8 year old who just discovered the series to middle aged dads who have been waiting since they were those little boys themselves to see this movie have been wondering the same thing; how do I spy on cell phone without having the phone? Most notably, how do we spy on J.J. Abrams phone to get theses spoilers? But that doesn’t mean there’s not someone out there offering up the latest spy gadgets for cell phones, or standing around with their Bluetooth cell phone spy app to catch the latest details. Even those who would never consider themselves to be sneaky might find it hard to resist the power of the dark side and become intrigued by how to spy on a cell phone for free.
